Kiso Hinoki (Japansese cypress)
Kiso is the name of the area in Nagano prefecture Japan.
Kiso Hinoki is a cypress that is cut down around Kiso area.
Hinoki has a good scent and a beautiful grain, and has excellent water resistance and durability. The cheff of Japanese cuisine prefer to use cutting board of Hinoki. Kiso Hinoki is also famous for being used as a material for Ise Jingu.

How to use and care
・Please rinse with water and moisten before use, wipe off excess water with a clean cloth.
・Please wash with TAWASHI, a scrubbing brush. If you cut a strong-smelling ingredient, wash it with detergent and rinse carefully so that there is no detergent remains.
・Please make it stand up along the grain, and dry in the shade.
