ABOUT US

We have been involved in the travel business in Japan for more than 20 years. Over the last 10 years, we have assisted travel in Japan by many people from the United States. In our work day after day, we are in a position enabling us to get a firm grasp of what foreign nationals who come to Japan are looking for. This has been a fortunate situation for us, because the excellence of many of the things these visitors want would otherwise have gone unnoticed by us Japanese. And before we knew it, we found ourselves enchanted all over again by the products of Japan. In the process, we came to realize that some of these products are surprisingly hard to buy outside Japan. Our new project arose out of our desire to create a platform that would make it easy for people even in other countries to purchase Japanese products that have so far been available for purchase only in Japan. On this website, we hope to handle Japanese products that convey the beautiful, precise, and delicate work of craftspersons, producers, and others involved with them.
