Description
This is a reproduction of traditional tsukubai with a water hole in the shape of sideway, straight line. It means “One” in Chinese Character (Kanji). "One" in English is called "Ichi" in Japanese. Therefore it is called "Ichi-monji Tsukubai". And the one in the Shoren-in Temple in Kyoto is famous.

Chozubachi
It is a water bowl for washing hands and mouth, and is also simply called "Chozu". At the tea ceremony, wash your hands and rinse your mouth to cleanse your mind and body.

Taiko stone
It is a granite that was quarried in Kyoto during the Azuchi-Momoyama period. It is now very rare and has been favored by the people such as tea masters and scholars because the weathering is beautiful.
