Description
This is a reproduction of the historical Tsukubai called “Chisoku no Tsukubai” placed at Ryoanji Temple in Kyoto Japan. Letters are engraved on all sides of this Tsukubai, and the water hole are shared as part of each letter and can be read as "wa-re-ta-da-ta-ru-ko-to-wo-shi-ru" in Japanese. It means that “I learn only to be contented." "Person who learn only to be contented is spiritually rich, while the one who does not learn to be contented is spiritually poor even if he is materially wealthy." This idea also leads to the spirit of Zen and the tea ceremony.

Chozubachi
It is a water bowl for washing hands and mouth, and is also simply called "Chozu". At the tea ceremony, wash your hands and rinse your mouth to cleanse your mind and body.
